About Us
Our Goal is to teach 1 million kids to meditate.
With "Health" being the new "Wealth" & "Kind" being the new "Cool" along with mental illness & disease causing fear in our community. The need to teach & educate children in ways to combat & survive in these times has never been greater.
Yoga & meditation has been around for over 5000 years and there is a reason why, its because it actually works.
Calming the mind, heals the body from stress & tension and offers a sense of freedom.
THE KIDS ARE OUR FUTURE
"If every 8 year old in the world is taught meditation, we would eliminate violence from the world within one generation." - Dalai Lama
Teacher
Michelle Jarman
Michelle has been teaching and modifying this very unique Yoga & Meditation based children's well being program since 2011.
Michelle completed her yoga teaching in Bali, with Byron Bay Yoga teacher John Ogilvie at Purna Yoga in 2011, whilst owning & operating one of the largest Yoga & Well being Studios in Australia: "Prana House". It was here she taught alongside other skilled teachers, taking both adult and children yoga and meditation classes.
This is where her passion for teaching children evolved.
Michelle has had the privilege of studying under and teaching alongside many world renowned teachers of consciousness, such as Channa Dassanyanka of Uniting Awareness, Danielle Van't schip oonk, Lala Witika, Isabel Watts, Mark Blyss, Julie Gargano the founder of Prana House, Mellara Gold of Embodied Living and Sonia Sumar of Yoga for the Special Child.
With a passion for health & wellbeing Michelle has also owned and operated ladies gymnasiums and is a qualified Holistic councilor.
Since then, Michelle has worked every day to build her "Yogi Hero's" Program for children, with the aim to teach 1 million kids to meditate. Michelle believes that through yoga and meditation, the world would be a more peaceful & happier place and she is inspired daily by children, their creativity, ability to live in the present moment, exploring their emotions and finding joy in the littlest things.
Michelle's focus is creating positive, healthy routines that will stick and can be carried through their life's journey.
Michelle's inspiration and dedication for this program is that she only wished that this type of program had been available to her own 3 children Jesse, Darcy & Jack Spinks during their foundation years.
